We lost our 14 1/2 year old shepherd in June and really missed her, my
husband particularly because he works at home and she was his "buddy".
We have had Chloe for about 4 months and Chance for around 2. They are
both wonderful dogs.... very sweet and affectionate. Chloe is older and
more quiet, although Chance has been teaching her how to play and be
more boisterous. They get along very well, although Chance (who is
really still just an 88 pound puppy) can be a bit overbearing at times.
(All the love and affection and attention should go to him!) Chloe,
however, is learning to deal with him and does a good job of keeping him
in line. They both love to ride and usually go everywhere with my
husband. We had my 15 month old grandaughter here for Christmas, and
they ! were wonderful with her. Chance (who doesn't walk anywhere but
always gallops) was always very aware of her and and didn't knock her
down once! Chloe is much more quiet and I never worried about her
knocking the baby down. Here are some pictures of them. There are 2 of
Chloe, 2 of them together, and 1 of Chance. Your organization does a
wonderful job, and we wish we would take in all your dogs!
